First Greek PAPA team meeting with the CEs

The first Greek PAPA team meeting with the CEs was held in the University of Thessaly. Head coaches (Aleksiou V., healing Patronis N., advice Keramidas P., Sigalas V., Voutiritsas T., Stefanis E., Loutsos G., Masouras A., Karagiannis T., Gioti G., & Kalogiannis P.) of youth football teams from all over the Greece visited the Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences to discuss the key elements and future planning of the PAPA project.

 It was pointed out that the motivation processes that occur during training are complex but also important for a positive and healthy youth development. Coaches gave a clear picture of the structure of youth football in Greece and expressed their interest in applying the PAPA project in their football teams. The first official meeting with the CEs attracted the attention of one of the biggest sport-sites and radio stations in Greece (www.sport-fm.gr) and the local newspapers and sport-sites (www.sportrikala.gr).
