PAPA Featured on Horizon 2020

An article about the PAPA Project has been featured on the Horizon 2020 website. Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever with nearly €80 billion of funding available over 7 years.

The article, entitled "Encourgaing kids' physical activity enagagement and well being by improving their experiences in organised sport", discusses the increase in prevalence of obesity in children in European countires and how insufficient levels of physical activity are a major contributor. The article goes on to examine the response from the PAPA Project, the research conducted and the promising findings now emerging.

Professor Joan Duda, the PAPA Project Director, was also interviewed for the article and offers some background and insight into the work the PAPA Project has been doing.
